Semester -- Fall NCTC Play (Audition/Interview Only in the Fall)
Each Fall semester, the Advanced class competes in the regional One Act Play festival for the North Carolina Theatre Conference. Find more information about the NCTC High School Play Festival here: nctc.org/high-school-play-festival/overview/
Lake Norman Live Improvisation Shows
Lake Norman Lives are the Advanced’s bi-monthly improv shows. The students play games, dress up to a theme, and have a fun-filled, easygoing comedy night for audience members to enjoy. Lake Norman Lives are a chance for the Academy to come together and perform some of the most chaotic, out-of-the-box, and without a doubt, most hilarious scenes you’ll ever watch or be a part of.
Spring Semester Advanced Theatre
Open to any who have had Theatre III. You do not need to audition for this semester, just sign up.
